I'm Emma– a driven, creative professional with extensive experience in marketing management, content creation, graphic design and social media. I graduated from Western University in 2021 with an Honours Specialization Bachelor’s Degree in Media Information and Technoculture (MIT) and a certificate in Digital Communications.

I am a passionate, diligent and self-motivated individual, and a firm believer that the little details make all the difference whether it be in design, work or life. I know I'm meant to work in a field that allows for passion to drive me, rather than obligation, and I thrive in collaborative environments while appreciating spaces that allow for individual growth and ownership.

Outside of my professional work, I run a fashion and lifestyle blog on Instagram (@shelooksleft), having grown my community to over 1,800 followers through posting authentic and strategic content and monitoring insights. In starting this page, I have become well-versed in content creation, storytelling, personal branding, partnership management and digital marketing strategy. I have partnered with many well-known brands, like OAK + FORT, Kotn, Mejuri, Call It Spring, Tentree, Garage, and Merit among others.

After a year and a half working as an Assistant Marketing Manager at a large Canadian bank, and six months as a Marketing Specialist and Social Media Manager at a small real estate brokerage, I've decided to focus on working towards a career more related to the fashion and beauty industry, with a focus in Marketing.

 

My ultimate goal is to use my creative voice in a way that is meaningful to both myself and others and inspires people to see the world through different perspectives.
